Hello! I'm Martin Evans, a remote session drummer and MIDI drum specialist currently based in Philadelphia. UK-born and raised, I've been playing since 1986, and cut my teeth in the pubs and working men's clubs of South East London. Since then I've gained extensive experience performing live, touring, and recording. Since 2021, I’ve focused exclusively on remote session work providing MIDI drum tracks for artists and producers around the world. I've been active on AirGigs as a top-rated studio pro since then with 80+ five-star reviews and counting.



As a player, I'm tasteful and sensitive with great ears. I consider myself a song drummer, and my aim is always to just play the music and let the song breathe. While my roots are in Rock and Pop, I'm versatile and comfortable across most genres. However, I ask that you check with me first, as I don't want to waste your time or money if I don't think I'm a fit for your project.

Listen, I get it. MIDI drums sometimes have a bad reputation. In the wrong hands, they can sound lifeless or robotic. Because of this, I work hard to ensure that anything that leaves my studio feels organic and, most importantly, musical. So rest assured — you're in good hands. I don't resort to programming or the use of third-party loops. Everything I do is played live, then delivered in the format that works best for your session:



• MIDI Only – A clean, fully editable MIDI file for use with your preferred library (Superior Drummer, GGD, SSD, etc.) If you use Toontrack products, I can include the project file as well.



• Multitrack Audio – High-quality WAV files exported from industry-standard libraries (kick, snare, toms, overheads, room, etc.)



• Mix-Ready Stem - A single high-quality stereo WAV file pre-mixed and ready to drop straight into your DAW.



I offer unlimited revisions, so we'll work until you're happy and the final files can be delivered in whatever format you require.
